Leaves | Never Boil or simmer! Just place in a mason jar and pour hot not boiling water over them. Steep a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum overnight then strain.

Flowers | Never Boil or simmer! Just place in a mason jar and pour hot not boiling water over them. Infuse 1-10 hours before straining. Some flowers will get bitter the longer they are infused, such as Chamomile, this flower you would want to add water let stand no more than 2 hours before drinking.

Seeds or Berries | Soak overnight in room temperature water – Rehydrating the dry herbs. Simmer on low for 10 min. then add to a jar and you can  steep a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum overnight then strain.

Barks | Soak overnight in room temperature water – Rehydrating the dry herbs. Simmer on low for 10-20 min. then add to a jar and steep a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum overnight then strain.

Soft Roots | Soak overnight in room temperature water – Rehydrating the dry herbs. . Simmer on low for 10-20 min. then add to a jar and you can steep a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum overnight then strain.

Hard Roots | Soak overnight in cool water – Rehydrating the dry herbs. . Simmer on low for 10-20 min. then add to a jar and you can steep a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum overnight then strain.

Example Tea Formula

* Burdock Root

* Dried Ginger Root

* Fennel Seeds

* Nettle Leaf

Directions

1 Quart of water to 1 oz. of dried herbs

Cover Fennel, Burdock and Ginger with water and soak overnight

Pour the soaked herbs and water into a pot

Simmer Burdock, Fennel and Ginger for 10 – 15 minutes add a little extra water for evaporation.

Pour over Nettle leaf – infuse or steep for a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of overnight.

Strain and drink.
